Day two started well. We managed to get the dogs walked at GlenCaple before leaving there at 8:35am. Today was always going to be another driving day. Our first stop was Smiddy Farm Shop at Blair Drummond. We cannot come to Scotland without visiting this shop. They sell the most amazing bridies! If you've never had one, you need to try one. They also sell fantastic cakes. Add to that some local strawberries and cream, local beers and a couple of local gin miniatures, what more could you want? They have a restaurant inside as well as takeaway outside, where they make breakfast rolls or burgers to take away. We always grab a coffee from here.
Our next stop was a little car park at Loch Lubhair, where we had lunch and gave the dogs a short walk.
From here, we headed towards Skye. We had made the decision to spend the night at Auchtertyre rather than go on to Skye. It is only 10 minutes from Skye, but we have stayed here before and knew it was a safe place to stay.
On the way, we stopped at Morrisons in Fort William to fill up with fuel. We arrived at Auchtertyre at 5pm.
