Day 3 - Skye Caravan and Camping Club Site

After using the facilities provided at Auchtertyre, we left there at about 9:15am and headed for Skye. We had decided to check out the car park at Blà Bheinn with a view to overnighting there. It was a lovely spot but no signal whatsoever, so decided to move on after having coffee and cake.

Our next stop was Staffin Beach. We went down to the bottom, to begin with, where we saw a seal bobbing about, before turning around and going back up to the parking area. This would've been ok, except there wasn't really anywhere to walk the dogs apart from the rocks on the beach or down the single track road. We stayed there for lunch before deciding that, with the high winds forecast, we would book into Skye CCC site. We were already booked in for Monday night, so headed off to there. Lovely site, lovely wardens, lovely views.
